Perhaps the finest Tina Marie to date, and definitely the most precocious. Creamy and weighty on the palate, it's finish is long and sexy. Note of white chocolate, black cherry, toasted oak, and brown spice flavors, play alongside aromas of almond shell, butterscotch, blackberry, espresso, and cinnamon.

The Tina Marie vineyard is situated in the blessed Pinot Noir haven of Green Valley, a sub-appellation of Russian River Valley, located just north of Sebastapol. The 11 acre site is planted to Dijon clones 115, 667, and 777. The coastal fog visits most days until September, and burns off late morning, moderating the summer sun. Wines from the RRV often show great structure with rich, spicy fruit and solid core in the mid-palate.
The alter ego to our Petite Sirah, we employ minimalist techniques with our Pinots. We added 20% whole clusters to the whole berry, destemmed fruit, which then underwent a four-day cold soak, involving a gentle pump over of the juice. Once fermentation began we punched down 2x daily until complete. After an extended maceration we pressed to French Oak barrels (33% new). Before bottling we racked one time, and bottled after 15 months in barrel.
In 2010, we once again experienced a late bud-break and a cool summer which resulted in a pick date three weeks later than 2009. With the longer hang time the 2010 Tina achieved incredible balance and seductive character.
