May 4th bottling
A busy day for Enkidu on the 4th, we bottled eight wines including our highly anticipated 2009 Russian River Valley Shamhat Rosé. The Shamhat is primarily Syrah, from the Odyssey vineyard, with a good dose of Fazekas Sangiovese. A dry Rosé is one of the most versatile wines when pairing with food - anywhere from melon and prosciutto to roasted pork with an herb and cherry infused sauce. Our Shamhat was released on May 15th and is available for purchase on our website and at our Kenwood tasting room. Don't miss out, only 115 cases produced!
Our next release from the May 4th bottling will be our 2008 Sonoma County Kick Ranch Syrah. Less than 100 cases produced, this wine will be released in the fall. Rich, complex, and full of flavor, this Syrah is worth the wait.
